The RG-RAP62 is a cost-effective ceiling-mount Wi-Fi 6 access point designed for small and medium business wireless deployments. This 802.11ax AX1800 AP features 2×2:2 MU-MIMO on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands delivering up to 1,774 Mbps combined throughput: 573 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1,201 Mbps on 5 GHz. Dual-band operation with backward compatibility to Wi-Fi 5/4 (802.11ac/n/a/b/g) ensures support for legacy devices. Compact ceiling design with Ø 175 mm diameter × 39 mm height blends discreetly into guest areas, dining spaces, and professional offices.
The RG-RAP62 provides Gigabit Ethernet uplink (1 × 10/100/1000BASE-T port) with PoE/PoE+ or DC power support and maximum 12.95W power consumption for simplified installation and low operational costs. Advanced features include AI Wireless Optimization (WIO) for intelligent channel selection and power adjustment, Reyee Mesh technology for self-healing wireless mesh networks, standalone AP portal with built-in captive portal for guest WiFi authentication, and VLAN support for network segmentation. Lightweight design (≤0.4 kg) simplifies ceiling installation.

Operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) supports tropical climate deployments across Kenya, Uganda, and East Africa.
