DATASHEET

About the UISP Horn

The UISP-Horn is a high-isolation point-to-multipoint horn antenna delivering wide-band 5.15–6.875 GHz sector coverage with exceptional front-to-back ratio and precise mechanical adjustment — purpose-built for East African WISP and ISP deployments where sector isolation and frequency flexibility are critical. Measuring 282 × 224 × 380 mm (11.1 × 8.8 × 15") with a device weight of 3.06 kg (6.75 lb) and mount weight of 925 g (2.04 lb), the UISP-Horn features a UV-stabilised polycarbonate and aluminium alloy enclosure with a metal carrying handle for easy installation handling. The included pole mount with alignment mount supports ⌀25–70 mm (⌀1–3") pole diameters with ±20° elevation and ±25° azimuth mechanical adjustment for precise sector coverage alignment. IPX6 weatherproofing and 200 km/h wind survivability with 90 N wind loading ensure reliability in East African outdoor tower environments. Fully NDAA compliant.

The UISP-Horn covers 5.15–6.875 GHz delivering a 30° azimuth (6 dB) and 25° elevation (6 dB) beamwidth — providing focused sector coverage that reduces inter-sector interference across multi-sector WISP tower deployments. The exceptional typical 45–50 dB front-to-back ratio with a minimum of 40 dB provides industry-leading isolation between sectors, enabling tighter frequency reuse across East African ISP tower sites. 15+ km PtMP link range covers large rural catchment areas. 2:1 maximum VSWR.
Additional specifications:
  • Wind loading: 90 N at 200 km/h (20 lbf at 124 mph)
  • IPX6 weatherproofing
  • Fully NDAA compliant

Ideal for WISP PtMP infrastructure, ISP sector deployments, rural broadband coverage, campus distribution, and any deployment across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and the wider East and Central Africa region requiring wide-band 5.15–6.875 GHz high-isolation horn antenna performance with 30° sector coverage, 45–50 dB F/B ratio, 15+ km PtMP range, IPX6 weatherproofing, and precise ±20°/±25° mechanical adjustment.
